This sign was created for a craft beer establishment, a food hall in The Collection at Riverpark in Oxnard. Hand Painted Sign
The Process
I received a piece of stainless steel metal sheeting that was mounted to a piece of plywood. To achieve the aged look, I treated the metal with muriatic acid, which you can buy at a local hardware store. I created a stencil of the logo and proceeded to map out each section to paint. Once I completed the painting I sealed it with a non-gloss spray.

I used a projector to get the lettering in the right place, and then I used a yellow colored pencil to create the outline.
